Votiva may be used to treat several common Vaginal Health concerns that result following childbirth, hormonal transition or occur naturally through aging. These include:

Votiva uses state-of-the-art radiofrequency technology to evenly distribute heat and fractional energy to the interior and exterior of the vagina using three different specialized devices all powered through the Votiva Platform.
Each component of the Votiva Procedure is used to treat a different issue. FormaV, Morpheus8 and Aviva can all be used independently or together depending on a patient’s desired results.
FormaV is used for tissue remodeling and to tone the pelvic floor muscles. The wand heats the internal tissue of the vagina and imparts gentile, uniform volumetric heating for temporary improvements in blood circulation, muscle pain relief and muscle relaxation.
After repeated treatments patients report tightening of the vagina, decreased urinary incontinence and increased sexual sensation.

Morpheus8 is used externally to improve the texture and appearance of the vulva through radiofrequency microneedling.
The tiny needles transmit fractional RF energy directly into the tissue to stimulate collagen production and decrease the appearance of sagging and wrinkling on the vulva.
In addition to treating the labia, Morpheus 8 can be used to treat other areas of the body such as the face, neck, knees and abdomen.

Aviva, powered by Accutite technology, is a minimally invasive alternative to receiving a labioplasty and is used primarily to improve the external appearance of labia.
The Aviva applicator is a probelike device that imparts RF energy and causes contraction of the external tissue of on the vulva leading to a younger, tighter looking vaginal area.

Most patients do not report having a painful procedure although some might experience mild discomfort during or immediately after the procedure.
A typical Votiva with FormaV procedure will take anywhere from 15-30 minutes.
There is little to no downtime following a Votiva with FormaV treatment. Patients can resume their daily activities following the treatment. It is recommended to abstain from sexual activity for a period of 2-3 days.
Most patients report immediate results. Our physician, Dr. Rey N. Bello, will recommend the exact number of treatments necessary to see optimal results but the majority of patients need 3 treatments.
Typically, Morpheus8 is used once as part of a Votiva treatment regimen with FormaV being used 3 times or more.
